I was disappointed with the overall product.
Although just the size and shape I had looked for, I was surprised to find that when the component parts were assembled by screwing together, the "screw plates" were visible and not fully covered by the wooden parts of the item.
Secondly, the "natural lacquer" finish was very poor. It was patchy and rough and did not give the look of natural wood.
I kept the item as it was the shape I required, and have improved it by sanding down and painting the table.
In doing so, I was also able to somewhat conceal the visible parts of the "screw plates".
Rather a costly item considering the amount of work I have had to do to make it look better.
